On December 2nd, the Jiangsu Textile Engineering Society held two scientific and technological achievement appraisal meetings at Changshu International Hotel, jointly completed by Changshu Polyester, Donghua University, and Suzhou University, on "Key Technologies and Industrialization of 44-167dtex Original Liquid Colored Flame Retardant Polyester High Strength Yarn" and "Key Technologies and Industrialization of 44-167dtex Flame Retardant Polyester High Strength Yarn". The appraisal meeting was chaired by Li Mei, Deputy Secretary General of Jiangsu Textile Engineering Society. Leaders from the provincial society, leaders from Changshu city and town, industry experts, and business leaders attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Jin Jian, Deputy Mayor of Dongbang Town, Changshu City, delivered a speech. Cheng Jianliang, Chairman of Changshu Polyester Co., Ltd., introduced the basic situation of the company to everyone.
Subsequently, Li Mei, Deputy Secretary General of Jiangsu Textile Engineering Society, read out the list of experts of the appraisal committee and elected the chairman of the appraisal committee.
The appraisal committee is composed of five experts: Professor and Director Gao Weidong from Jiangnan University, Professor Zhang Ruiping from Nantong University, Senior Engineer and Director Wang Yuping from the National New Horizon Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center, Senior Engineer and Chairman Yu Weimin from Jiangsu Textile Industry Design and Research Institute, Senior Engineer and Deputy Director Chang'an Jianglong from Jiangsu Engineering Consulting Center. Professor and director of Jiangnan University, Gao Weidong, serves as the chairman of the appraisal committee.
The appraisal committee listened to the work reports and technical research reports of each project, reviewed relevant technical materials, and discussed and exchanged ideas on the main innovative points, key technologies, and prospects for promotion and application of the results. They objectively evaluated the project from a professional perspective. The appraisal committee believes that the process technology of the project products has reached the leading level in China, and unanimously agrees that the two projects have passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal. It is recommended to further expand market applications to meet user requirements.
At the end of the meeting, Hua Xuedong, Deputy Director of Changshu Science and Technology Bureau, Yue Liang, Secretary General and Senior Accountant of Jiangsu Textile Engineering Society, delivered speeches respectively.
